What is Hypnosis?

The term Hypnosis was coined back in the 1800’s by James Braid that refers to the Greek god of sleep named Hypnos. General hypnosis is the brainwave state known as Theta. The Hypnotic state can be described as the state between being asleep and being awake. It is a state of mind that feels relaxing while also being consciously alert while in the relaxed state of mind. Hypnosis has a quality to become highly suggestible while in this relaxed state of mind, however, the suggestibility is ultimately up to the individual’s willingness to be hypnotized.

What is the difference between Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis?

How many hypnotherapy sessions is enough?

Each individual is a different case and there is no way to really determine how many sessions a person will need. Results can be seen, however, within 1 – 2 sessions on a mental and emotional level. Physical results can be seen anywhere from 4+ sessions.

The quality of sessions will determine a person’s results and how many sessions they will need.

It is common to need less hypnotherapy sessions than other forms of therapy.

What location do these sessions occur at?

All Sessions are now Via Zoom (it has been tested out for years and the conclusion is there is no difference than as in person besides the convenience of not traveling.)
